Joining the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association is easy.

We only require that you live, own property or own a business in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood.

We ask that you fill out this membership form (at bottom of this page). If you would prefer to do it offline, please request a paper form from the Marcy-Holmes office. There are no dues or meeting attendance requirements.

All MHNA meetings are open to the public.

MHNA holds membership meetings quarterly (January, April, June and October). Members who supply us with email addresses will automatically be subscribed to our monthly our monthly newsletter, the Marcy-Holmes Monthly, in addition to our regular committee and event announcements.

In the form below: if you are a homeowner or renter, please list your address (include your apartment #). If you are business owner, please list the address of your business. If you are a property owner but don't live in the neighborhood, please list the address of the property you own in Marcy-Holmes.

As a new, Non-Resident Member (business owner, property owner, or duly-sponsored representative of a non-profit or for-profit organization in Marcy-Holmes), you will be asked to for proof of ownership or appointment by a business or organization at the first MHNA Membership meeting you attend. Please review Article IV of the official MHNA Bylaws for more information.


SPECIAL NOTE: ANNEXED MEMBERSHIP

Residents, businesses and property owners within specific areas (but beyond Marcy-Holmes' official boundaries) can qualify for Membership, and subsequently, the opportunity to run for the board. Areas within the red outlines below.

As per our bylaws:

(c) Annexed Members: 
Membership may be conferred on (granted to) individuals who (1) reside in, (2) own real property or have an interest in a real property, or (3) are duly-sponsored representatives of a non-profit or for-profit organization or business outside of the City-recognized Marcy-Holmes neighborhood boundary but who have a physical address within the geographic area bounded by 15th Avenue SE on the west, University Avenue SE on the south, Oak Street SE on the east, and the BNSF railroad tracks on the north.Membership will also be conferred upon residents of Sanford Hall and Roy Wilkins Hall, both buildings located on the south side of University Avenue SE between 11th Avenue SE and 13th Avenue SE. Such members shall be granted the same rights and privileges of Non-Resident members. Membership rights shall continue until it is terminated in accordance with Section 1.a. and 1.b. above or until such time as this area has its own neighborhood organization.
