This is our final year of Third Avenue Bridge construction. Thank you for your patience and support as we complete the necessary preservation and rehabilitation work to continue to allow this historic bridge to connect our communities.

Though we have not yet identified a bridge reopening date, we are thinking about what a project celebration and the reconnection of communities across the Mississippi River will look and feel like.

As a valued member of this community and because of your involvement throughout construction, we would love to hear from you about what would make this an exciting and festive community-centered celebration.

We also recognize that time is a valuable resource. We have prepared a survey to capture your thoughts and suggestions about our project celebration. However, if you would prefer to discuss them via a brief phone call, let’s find a time to connect.

Should you not have the capacity or otherwise feel that we should connect with another person, we welcome you to invite key members of your community or another staff person with your organization to share their thoughts via the survey. Your participation is what guides the event experience and is key to a more connected and vibrant event!
