Saturday, September 7, 9 am - 12 pm

We will meet at the corner of 3rd Ave SE and Main St SE, across from the Pillsbury A Mill.

Take a healthy break helping restore native habitat in a nature sanctuary on our Mississippi riverfront; learning about the future of the Mississippi and this riverfront park; and visiting our nearby eagle nest to see three newly hatched eaglets. Good for your community, good for your environment, and good for you!

We will plant native shrubs, and clean up the shoreline, slopes and park on the east bank of the Mississippi River, where Father Hennepin named St. Anthony Falls.
Preparations: Gloves and tools are provided by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association. Please bring a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes geared for an outdoor activity on natural and uneven surfaces.
