The City of Minneapolis is hosting an open house for the Johnson St NE/35W Intersection Improvement project on Thursday, April 27th. The project will be reconstructing the intersection, including Johnson St NE, the ramps leading to I-35W, and the entrance to the Quarry with the goal of improving the safety, comfort, and travel experience for all people using the intersection and better meet the needs of the community. While not project is not located within the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood, the project may be of interest for residents due to the close proximity of the intersection and the Quarry shopping center.
