Position: Executive Director
Hours and Compensation: Part-time at 32 hours a week: Annual salary $50,000

The Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association (MHNA) seeks a dynamic and experienced
executive director to work with the Board of Directors to improve and engage the
community.

Marcy-Holmes, known as “Minneapolis’ first neighborhood,” is home to 15,149 people
according to the United States 2020 Census and five historic districts. The neighborhood
borders the Mississippi River to the south and the University of Minnesota to the east. In
fact, many students call Marcy-Holmes home.

Marcy-Holmes is filled with beautiful parks and trails, particularly along the river. Historic
Saint Anthony Main, the Stone Arch Bridge, Dinkytown, and the University of Minnesota
attract visitors and students from around the state and beyond. Other landmarks include
the First Congregational Church, B. O. Cutter House, the Sixth Avenue Gateway, and Florence
Court.

MHNA works to build an inclusive neighborhood by engaging renters, homeowners,
students, the unhoused, and other populations in neighborhood improvements while
preserving its historic roots.
