The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a number of open-house-style in-person and virtual listening sessions this month to shape its improvements to Hwy 47/University Ave. and Hwy 65/Central Ave.

There will be a virtual session on July 18 from 11:30am-1pm and an in-person session from 4-7pm at the United Labor Centre, located at 312 Central Ave. To give residents an opportunity to give their input on this project, the MHNA Infrastructure Committee plans to merge its existing meeting on July 18 with the in-person session that same day. Those planning to attend the Infrastructure meeting are welcome to show up to the MDOT event whenever they choose (as it is open-house-style), and around 7pm, we will walk from the United Labor Centre to Holmes Park for additional discussion of the future of state highways in our neighborhood from 7:15-7:45pm.
