The General Membership of Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association will be voting on Tuesday, May 19, on continuing treatment of 152 priority public ash trees in the neighborhood, preserving the large canopy trees while the MPRB is replacing other ash trees with diverse species of saplings. MHNA is also considering continuing resident and landowner education about caring for private ash trees, and watering and other care for public trees—a major challenge in our rental-dominant neighborhood.
