To promote neighborhood safety, the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association has created a Block Club Support Program. Homeowners and other property owners can be reimbursed up to $50 for safety improvements made to their properties. New, and continuing Block Club Leaders can be reimbursed up to $100 for safety improvements. See below for details.
Become a Block Club Leader
Block club leaders are crucial to the safety and quality of life in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood. Leaders serve as a first contact with Minneapolis Crime Prevention Specialists, exchanging information about crime in the neighborhood. Block club leaders are encouraged to notify their neighbors of crime, and often organize a National Night Out event for their block. Block club leaders must commit to two years of leadership. They can be reimbursed up to $100 for making safety improvements to their properties.
